After an order is confirmed, send a one-time review invite. Reviews written from it carry the Verified purchase badge and link to that order.

Respond to any published review from your profile. Readers see your side of the story next to the customer's, which is where good service shows.

When your store marks an order as fulfilled, Trustfold emails the customer a single-use link. A review written through that link is attached to the order on our side, which is what earns it the Verified purchase badge.

Every review is moderated by Trustfold before it's published. The process is the same for every business, and it's run by our team, not by the business.

Our moderators confirm the account, the content and, for invited reviews, the purchase it came from.

The review goes live with its badges. You're notified and can reply from your profile.

Your public reply appears directly under the review, so readers see both sides.

What doesn't pass verification: no evidence of a genuine interaction, a conflict of interest, a paid or incentivised review, personal data about staff, or content that isn't a review. A rating, high or low, is never a reason on its own.

Can I remove a review I think is unfair?

Published reviews stay up, but you can reply publicly and flag any review that breaks the guidelines for a second look by our moderation team, who make the final call.

Do invited reviews get treated differently?

They go through the same verification as every other review. The only difference is the Verified purchase badge, because we can see the order they came from.

Can I choose which customers get an invite?

Invites go out automatically for every fulfilled order. That consistency is what makes a Trustfold score credible to the people reading it.

How long does verification take?

Usually under two days. Reviews that arrived through an order invite are the quickest, because the purchase is already confirmed.
